Pest Control (Insecticide)
Fast, targeted aerial insecticide applications for mosquito management, fire ant baiting, and crop pest control — covering ground that crews can’t reach safely or efficiently.
Typical targets
- Mosquito management — wetlands, drainage channels, floodplains, and recreational areas
- Fire ant eradication — granular bait spreading on rural properties and development sites
- Armyworm and caterpillar outbreaks in pastures and broadacre crops
- Aphids, thrips, and other sucking insects in horticulture
- Grasshopper and locust pressure in grazing country
Our approach
Product selection and application method are matched to the target pest and site conditions. For liquid insecticides we adjust droplet size and flight speed to achieve optimal canopy penetration while maintaining safe buffers from non-target areas. For granular products (fire ant bait), we use a calibrated spreading system with GPS logging for full coverage documentation.
We observe label requirements for re-entry intervals and withholding periods, and advise you accordingly before we start. All jobs are conducted under a CASA Remote Operator’s Certificate.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you do fire ant baiting?
- Yes. We carry out granular fire ant bait spreading using our multi-rotor platform. This is often faster and safer than ground crews, especially on large or heavily infested properties. Operations are carried out in accordance with the National Fire Ant Eradication Program guidelines.
- Can you treat around houses and public areas?
- Depending on the product and site, yes. We assess buffer distances, wind conditions and label requirements before any application near people, pets or sensitive areas. For public-space mosquito management we coordinate timing to minimise exposure.
- What insects can you target?
- Common targets include mosquitoes, caterpillars (armyworm, loopers), grasshoppers, aphids, and other crop insects. We tailor the product and application rate to the target pest — contact us with your situation to discuss whether aerial application suits your target.
- Is aerial insecticide application legal?
- Yes, where the product label permits aerial application. We operate under a CASA-issued REoC and only use products that are registered and labelled for aerial use in the relevant situation.
